This is one of my favorite design related videos from TED. Don Norman, who I hear taught Iowa State, gives a wonderful talk on his viewpoint of design and the need for “fun.”

Mostly, I love that he sees the importance of emotion within design and the importance of including the human element of humor. Not so much in the “ha ha” way but in the form of cleverness and communication.

Wonderful stuff.
